Horrors of the Sky
Because HP Lovecraft has been on my mind (and on my bookshelf) anything I see now has a creepy, vaguely-tentacled sheen to it.
As I look out my window and up into the sky I can see the beauty cascading from the gentle hills and into the valley; flowing—pulsing—from the city below and up and out and over and over again into the cosmos.
That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange aeons even death may die.
A pulpy, tentacled head surmounted a grotesque and scaly body with rudimentary wings descended from the sky.
The Culver CIty Hotel has a grand history. Located in the recently gentrified downtown, years ago the hotel housed the actors for the Wizard of OZ.
There is a Geo Cache around those parts.
